Advanced Image Stabilization

Most desktop cameras make automatic adjustments from time to time for lighting and white balance. This can result in reduced frame rate due to excessive pixel changes which plays havoc when you're using the camera for videoconferencing, slowing down compression rates and making your image look jerky The DCVC2 has an innovative image stabilizing that reduces unnecessary pixel updates and increases your frame rate, especially in the fluorescent light of an office.

Adjustable Video Image

DCVC2 has an on-board DSP controller. White Balance, Brightness and Sharpness can be easily adjusted to your liking using the mini-control panel on the side.

Mechanical Auto Iris - Flicker-less Anywhere in the World

DCVC2 has an electronic iris fixed at 1/100 sec. In turn, a mechanical auto iris is used to control exposure. It is more responsive and has a broader range of brightness control than cameras with an auto electronic shutter. This combination produces a flicker-less image in countries with 50 or 60Hz fluorescent lighting condition. So it doesn't matter if you are in US, Europe or wherever.

Low Profile Design for Better Eye Contact (Parallax)

Proper eye contact is the key to effective videoconferencing. This is why the lens is located at its lowest possible point for better parallax. Further, the unique design allows the unit to tilt and hang down below the monitor ledge.

Macro Function for Close-up Image Capturing

Focus can be quickly adjusted from 25mm (1") to infinity with a focus knob. This allows the camera to be used for document or close-up imaging.

Simple and Inconspicuous Design

DCVC2 is less noticeable compared to other desktop cameras so you can relax and conduct more natural conferencing.

Privacy Shutter

With DCVC2's built-in shutter you can immediately see and be sure that you have complete privacy. It also acts as a power ON/OFF switch.
