The Micronica universal PCI Multi-port serial card provides RS-232 Serial connection ports on your system for modem and industrial communication and automation applications. This serial card works on both 32-bit and 64-bit PCI Bus with 3.3V or 5V power allowing it to be installed in virtually any PC system and compatible with all major operating systems. The card supports multi independent RS-232 ports, with each port transfer data up to 921.6 Kbps, making it the best solution for various industrial communication and automation applications.
This card features a special re-map function built in for use with devices designed to work only in specific addresses like the COM1 or COM2 port. Ideal for legacy DOS, software and other applications requiring this level of control. The Re-Map function allows user to manually adjust the I/O address to the following specific address 3F8, 3E8, 2F8, and 2E8. The card is also available without the special Re-Map functionality if preferred.
