General Notes ------------- Do not use in extreme cold, heat, dusty or wet conditions. Do not drop. In the following cases you must charge the unit -The display shows a battery graphic -The unit does not stay on or shuts off -The unit does not respond to buttons being pressed -If the unit can not be found when plugged into a computer USB port Do not unplug the watch during download from or upload to a computer. Disconnecting at these times will result in a program error and could result in lost data. The device will begin charging once plugged into the USB port of a computer. This device is not waterproof, do not submerge in water. Button Functions • Play/Pause : turn on/off, enter, play, pause, stop • Menu : return to previous menu, delete • Forward : next section, fast forward • Back : last selection, rewind • +Vol : increase the volume • -Vol : decrease the volume • Pressing Forward and Back and the same time will reset the unit 1) Turn On/Off (i) turn on : press and hold “Play/Pause” button for 2 seconds (ii) turn off : press the “Play/Pause” button (iii) to reset : press the “Forward” and “Back” buttons at the same time. 2) Browsing Press “Forward” or “Back” to choose between menus and files. Press “Play/Pause” to select the menu of play the file. Press the “M” button to return to the previous menu. 3) Deleting Use the “Forward” and “Back” buttons select the file you wish to delete and hold down the “M” button a few seconds. A menu will appear asking to confirm deletion. Press the “Forward” or “Back” to select yes and press “Play/Pause” to delete the file .To continue browsing without deleting select no and press “Play/Pause”. 4) Volume Adjustment (i) press “+V” to increase volume (ii) press “-V” to decrease volume 5) Display Clock While the watch is off, press the “M” button for 5 seconds and the clock will display. The clock display will stay on for about 6 seconds to save battery life. Navigating Watch Functions -------------------------- Press “Forward” or “Back” to scroll through the functions, press “Play/Pause” to enter a function’s menu. 1) Music Menu A) Music Displays the track listing, and allows to you select a track to listen or delete. Press “play/pause” to play a selected song. Press “play/pause” quickly to pause a track while it is playing. Hold down “play/pause” to stop a song while it is playing. B) Browse The Browse menu allows you to view the file directory to find specific files, rather than the track listing. C) Play Mode There are 5 Play Modes, normal play, repeat one track, repeat all tracks, random play, random play and repeat all tracks. To select a play mode use the “forward” and “back” buttons to scroll through the modes, press the “play/pause” button to select the play mode you would like. D) Equalizer There are 6 Equalizer modes, normal, bass, rock, jazz, classical, and pop. To select a play mode use the “forward” and “back” buttons to scroll through the modes, press the “play/pause” button to select the equalizer mode you would like. 2) Sound Menu (playback mode) This menu allows you to play recorded files. Use the “forward” and “backward” buttons to scroll through the files you have recorded, and use the “play/pause” button to play a selected file. . Press “play/pause” quickly to pause a file while it is playing. Hold down “play/pause” to stop a file while it is playing. 3) Play Menu (video mode) This menu allows you to play video files you have uploaded to the watch. Use the “forward” and “backward” buttons to scroll through the video files, and use the “play/pause” button to play a selected file. . Press “play/pause” quickly to pause a video while it is playing. Hold down “play/pause” to stop a video while it is playing. 4) Display Menu (picture mode) A) Manual Manual mode allows you to browse your pictures by file. Scroll through files using the “forward” and “backward” buttons. Select a file to view with the “play/pause” button. To zoom in on a photo open the file and use the “volume up” to zoom in and “volume down” button to zoom out. B) Slideshow To view photos as a slideshow press “play/pause” button. The picture will change after 1 second. To skip a picture press the “forward” button, to go back to a previous picture press the “backward” button. To exit the slideshow press the “menu” button. C) Thumbnail To view thumbnails of your pictures press the “play/pause” button and then press the “volume up” button. 4 thumbnails will display at a time. Press the “backward” and “forward” buttons to scroll through thumbnails. 5) Time Menu A) Time Display Press “play/pause” to display time B) Time Settings To set the time and date press “forward” and “backward” to scroll through year, month, day, time, and day of the week settings. Once the correct setting is selected press “play/pause” to advance to the next section. C) Time Format The time format menu allows you to select either 12 hour time or 24 hour time. Select the time format by pressing “play/pause” to confirm. Press “menu” to go back to the main time menu. D) Date Format The date format menu allows you to select how a date will display. Press “play/pause” to select the date to display as m/d/y, d/m/y, or y/m/d. 6) Settings Menu A) Backlight This menu allows you to select how long the backlight will stay lit. Options are 3 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec or always on. Scroll through the options using the “forward” and “backward” buttons, select an option by pressing the “play/pause” button. B) Power Saving (power saver settings) The power save mode can be set to intervals of 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes, or power save mode off. Scroll through options using “forward” and “backward”, select a setting using the “play/pause” button. The watch will turn off after selected interval if not in use or if no buttons are pressed. C) Default Restore This will restore factory defaults. The defaults of this device are in Chinese. If you can not read Chinese we suggest you not select this. Pass it by. D) Language The language options of this device are English, Traditional Chinese, Modern Chinese, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Korean, and Hungarian. Select the language you would prefer by scrolling through with the “forward” and “backward” buttons, press “play/pause” to select the language. E) About Contains information about this device and the firmware. 6) Record Menu A) Recording Settings You can select to record in 256 Kbps or 320 Kbps. Press the “forward” and “backward” buttons to scroll through the options, press “play/pause” to select the mode you prefer. By selecting the record setting option you can select to record from the built in microphone or through a line in connection. B) Start Recording Press the “play/pause” button to begin recording. To end recording press the “menu” button. Recorded files can be played from the Sound Menu. 7) E-Book Menu You can scroll through loaded E-Books using the “forward” and “backward” buttons. Press “play/pause” to open a selected file. To select the auto page turn time press the “menu” button with a file open, from this menu hold down the “menu” button a few seconds to return to the file.
