Following are notes for some specific common questions we have been asked about.


• Q: Do I need to install any software on my computer to use ATV3000 ?
  A: No! ATV3000 Video to VGA converter and TV is a stand alone hardware device requiring no software installation whatsoever.
  


• Q: I think I mucked up the settings and can't get a picture now. Any way to "Reset" it back to "normal" ?
  A: Yes! Don't worry. It's really easy. Select the Reset option in the On Screen Display (OSD) Menu. Simple.
  


• Q: Please advise on suitability to use between DVD player and Sony Computer Monitor.
  A: Various DVD players, Game consoles, various input devices and monitors can vary. So obviously if we didn't supply your other equipment and don't know your particular model of equipment it would be unreasonable for us to advise whether it will definitely work ;-) It would have to be tested with your specific equipment. Which would have to be done as a chargeable service job costing $90+gst. You are welcome to bring in your equipment or get a field visit arranged if necessary. But ATV3000 does what it says. And in a nutshell, we have NEVER yet had ANY LCD or CRT monitor that didn't work with ATV3000. Many people use ATV3000 precisely for the task of watching DVD player or Game console on their CRT or LCD monitor. To basically convert Video to VGA. And picture quality is EXCELLENT!
  We welcome feedback and testimonials from you and all our customers of various source and display combinations which we are happy to put on our website for everyone's benefit to put their minds at rest. But in the past No ONE has ever had a problem and therefore never bothered to send us such feedback.
  So we actually offer a refund less $90+gst restocking and retesting fee and any delivery fees if you return it within 7 days if it does not meet ur need ;-) As long as its 100% unmarked. At least that gives you a "bailout" option if its TOTALLY unsuitable for some crazy reason :) But 99.9% for sure you will have no problems. No one has yet. Even with LCD monitors and Large Screen projectors with which ATV3000 is VERY widely used!
  


• Q: Can ATV-3000 tune all normal Australian TV Channels ?
  A: Yes! And because ATV-3000 is made for the worldwide TV market each channel can be fine tuned individually for best reception. If an initial channel number is not the exact right one just pick a nearby channel, Fine Tune it and then allocate your choice of channel number on the remote control using the "Channel Swap" function, any which way you like.
  For example to tune in CH7 you can select CH4 then Fine Tune and allocate it to button 7. Simple.
  The following is a typical common channel table for Australia:
  CH2 - CH3 Fine Tune
  CH7 - CH4 Fine Tune
  CH9 - CH7 Fine Tune
  CH10 - CH9 Fine Tune
  CH28 - CH28 Fine Tune
  CH31 - CH31 Fine Tune
  To make the UP/DOWN buttons "step" through ONLY your favourite channels, select the channel directly. Then MENU|TV|CH ADD/ERASE|Tick ADD. Very convenient additional feature.
