Genlock Video Mixer, Video Overlay and VGA to TV Converter
Some Common Questions
GVM-3370 is a complete VGA plus Video Mixer and Genlock Video Overlay converter
plus VGA to TV Converter device
requiring no software installation. It is completely self contained hardware only
design. Thereby
requiring no tricky computer reconfiguration to mix titles or picture display on
your VGA display with Composite or S-Video signals to produce resultant mixed Composite Video or
S-Video output.
Setup is extremely simple. It is so simple you can get it up and running in as little as 15 minutes! And it really works very well !
For full info, check out www.micronica.com.au/catalog/genlock/.
Of course the best thing is to get one and try it for yourself ! So you can
see and understand how easy it is :)
Following are notes for some specific common questions we have been asked
about.
Q: Do I need to install any software on my computer to use GVM-3370 ? A: No! GVM3370 Genlock Video Overlay Mixer is a stand alone hardware device
requiring no software installation whatsoever. Whatever is displayed on your
VGA screen gets mixed or overlayed using "Mix" or "Chromakey" mode with your Composite or
S-Video signal.
Q: How can I use GVM-3370 as a VGA to TV Converter ? A: Simply use just the VGA connection as the input source and dont
conenct anything to the Composite or S-Video input. Easy!
Q: I can't get any VGA display on my Video Out signal. Am I doing
something wrong ? A: Do you have any Composite or S-Video input signal connected ? Keep
in mind that when there is only VGA connected and there is no external
Composite or S-Video signal input, the slide switch
for the Genlock Sync Signal (S-IN, V-IN, INT) on the rear panel must be set to "INT"
position for VGA genlock use. This mode also allows the conversion from only VGA source to video for viewing the picture on your TV monitor
or record onto VCR. And is also a good little test that your system is set
up correctly.
Q: Can I get a copy of the User Manual so I can see what GVM-3370
Genlock Video Overlay and Mixer can do before I buy it ? A: Download and view the User Manual at http://micronica.com.au/catalog/genlock/manual/.
Keep in mind the technical specifications and user manual are subject to
change in the interest of product improvement. And our special latest design allow direct remote control selection of video source rather than
"stepping through" of video sources.
Where can you buy one ? It's quick and easy !
